Fashion Without Limits

Fashion Without Limits is a program spearheaded by iconic plus size supermodel Emme in exclusive partnership with the fashion design school at Syracuse University. It is a, unfortunately, rare opportunity for young designers to learn about how to design and construct garments for plus size body types. Every year the junior class must design and make plus size garments with donated fabric, which are then judged by Emme. The winner wins a cash prize, a certificate, and the opportunity for Emme to wear their garment to a Fashion Without Limits event. In 2016, I was chosen as the winner and what a great opportunity it was. It is what has pushed and inspired me to be an inclusive designer.
